“Self Love Kit” Product Review

I bought this kit back in February and it is basically a bundle of beauty and skincare products (sadly it is sold out but you can still buy all the products individually). The purchase price of the Self Love Kit was £150, however, the total value of all the products it includes is around £400. This kit was put together by Amelia Liana, – major beauty lover- blogger/influencer, as a small collection of some of her favourite products.

The main reason I bought this kit was that it came out just after my payday and it was an amazing deal paying £150 for all these “luxury” products. This was the first time I bought something like that, however, these makeup/beauty bundles are always amazing deals (considering what you get for how much you pay). I also think these bundles are awesome for people, like me, who like beauty (but are not very well educated on the topic), to discover new products. I can say with certainty that if it wasn’t for this kit, I would have never tried/bought 90% of these products (either because I didn’t know they existed or because I thought they were too expensive). Even though I didn’t love all of the products in the kit, I am very happy with this purchase. When something like this comes out next (by another influencer), I would highly recommend purchasing it, if you have the money.

Below is a list of every single product that came in the kit, its RRP (as found on Amelia Liana’s website where I purchased the kit from) and my thoughts on each one. Even though the actual kit is sold out, you can still buy all of these products.

Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary Mist
(30ml) RRP – £55.00
I have heard so many influencers talking about this, but in my opinion, it is overhyped and overpriced. I like the smell, I do enjoy using it but with no doubt, I wouldn’t repurchase (and definitely not for that price).

Aurelia Probiotic Concentrate
(10ml) RRP – £38.00
I have used this a number of times, but haven’t noticed it to be anything special.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks
(Pack Of 6) RRP – £52.00
I haven’t tried these yet, but I think I might just give them to my mum because they are pretty pricey and they would do so much more for her. I wouldn’t want them to go to waste. This is not something I need as a 23-year-old.

Clarins Re-Boost Refreshing Hydrating Cream
(50ml) RRP – £22.00
This moisturiser I actually really enjoyed using. I really like how it feels on the skin, it has very cute packaging (which never hurts) and I would for sure consider repurchasing it.

Rodial Banana Lowlighter
(5.5ml) RRP – £38.00
Okay, this product I LOVED but I would not repurchase for that price tag. I had never heard of it before and I didn’t even know what it was. I now use it as a concealer and I think it is great whether you are going all out with a full face of makeup, or for a light and natural look. If you are really into makeup, look into it. (Ps. this product is not in any of the pictures because I left it back home last time I was there)

Nars Orgasm Blush
(3.5g) RRP – £18.23
Not a huge blush person but I did like this shade for my skin tone. Personally I wouldn’t repurchase. I would probably just go for the Glossier cloud paint instead.

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat In Pillow Talk
RRP – £17.00
A very popular product, however, I haven’t even tried it yet because I don’t really use a lip liner. Maybe I should start.

Laura Mercier Rouge Essentiel À La Rose
(1.5g) RRP – £10.40
This is another product mini. I haven’t tried this one either.

Sisley Regenerating Hair Care Mask
(50ml) RRP – £17.75
Another mini. I used it twice, I liked it but it wasn’t nearly as good as I expected. I got an LR hair mask for Christmas and believe it or not, I actually liked that a lot more. Plus, you can never go wrong with coconut or olive oil (natural and cheap).

Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask
(70ml) RRP – £44.00
Now, this product I absolutely loved! A face mask is not a product you use every day so I know this one will last me a while. It is such a nice product, I would definitely consider repurchasing. It leaves my skin feeling so refreshed, hydrated, and happy (if that makes any sense). I would describe this product as a spa for your face. You don’t need it, but it feels amazing when you get it.

Lumene Arctic Berry Cocktail
(30ml) RRP – £29.90
I really enjoy using this product as well. I love the smell and more importantly, my skin feels really nice after I use it, but it isn’t part of my daily routine (I already use an oil). I do really like the product but I am not sure if I would repurchase. If your skin is more on the dry side or just needs a boost of moisture and vitamins then give it a try.

By Terry Baume De Rose
(10g) RRP – £40.00
Unfortunately, for me, this turned out to be another overpriced (and overhyped) product. I like it, I will use it, but I would not repurchase. I genuinely think it is not worth £40 (by any means). Even though I have heard so many great things about it, I think it’s nothing special. In my opinion, a lip balm from Yves Rocher is just as good!

Aurelia Repair & Brighten Hand Cream
(7ml) RRP – £3.00
This was a truly tiny mini lol. I wouldn’t repurchase. I disliked the scent and I found so many (and a lot more affordable) hand creams to be just as good.

Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil
(98.9ml) RRP – £26.00
I had heard so many things about this brand so I really had high hopes. I tried this oil a few times. It gets A+ for the scent and packaging. I liked it but personally I wouldn’t repurchase. It just feels like it’s not worth that price tag (for my hair needs anyway). I would totally recommend it if you want a more luxury hair oil and I would still consider trying other products from this brand.

Livia’s Nugglets
(35g) RRP – £1.50
A little treat never hurt no one. I actually did not like the Nugglets very much but the same brand does these Livia’s Dunx and they are SO GOOD. Especially the caramel almond flavour.

Skinnydip Makeup Bag
RRP – £12.00
I don’t have much to report on this one. There were 3 styles of bags and I got the black one at random. I love it, I think it is very pretty, but because of its colour I wouldn’t use it for my makeup.

I hope you enjoyed reading and found this informative!
