My 21st Birthday In Paris: Photo Diary

I turned 21 on the 30th of April and I got to celebrate my birthday in Paris! My lovely boyfriend organised everything and it is safe to say it was such an incredible birthday present (and on top of that he got me the shoes I asked forπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‡). I had no idea where we were going until we actually landed in Paris; needless to say I was left speechless. We stayed in Paris for 3 nights and we just spend our days being total tourists! We spend the whole of Sunday (and I mean THE WHOLE Sunday!) in Disneyland and the Walt Disney Studios and then the other days we just did some sightseeing around Paris, as you do. We went on a lovely boat cruise on Saturday night, we went on the Big Wheel at Place de la Concorde, of course, we went to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. I felt like a 100% basic tourist, and I loved it! 😍

The whole trip was truly amazing but I think that the highlight of it all, was that I got to have a pizza as a birthday cake AND blow out my candles underneath the beautifully lit Eiffel Tower. I had actually bought a tart which I wanted to be my birthday cake but by the time we got to the hotel, it basically did not look like a tart anymore. So instead, I decided I wanted a pizza as a birthday cake because (I freaking love pizza) we hadn’t had dinner, it was already around 10 p.m. by then and we were both starving. Alex found a little convenience store and bought me some candles but both of us forgot that we actually need something to light the candles with so before we knew it was 11:30 p.m. my actual birthday was almost over and we were walking around Pairs on a Monday night (pretty much everythinggggg was closed) trying to find a lighter or some matches. The whole situation was just so freaking funny, we were running around like headless chickens, may I add, IN THE RAIN, trying to find a lighter and then trying to find somewhere to actually set up my pizza-cake… OF COURSE, we made it work in the end and I got to make my birthday wish while blowing my candles.

The weather was SO cold!!! Saturday was nice and sunny but then the rest of the days were gloomy, cold and rainy. But hey, I spent them in Paris, I can’t complain. I wasn’t really prepared for that type of weather so I ended up re-wearing that one pair of jeans that I had with me and my chunky sweater and I might have stolen my boyfriend’s sweatshirt a few times. Even with the freezing cold weather and with one pair of jeans, I had THE BEST time! I literally do not know what I have done to deserve all these and I feel so incredibly lucky. I shared pictures from our trip on my Instagram (obviously) but I wanted to put together this little photo-diary to share some more of the lovely pictures that we took, but mainly to have it as a reminder of our trip and all the awesome memories we made there.
